On the evening
of Thursday, 14th March, the officers hosted a dinner for Paul Carless in celebration of
his two years in office as Master. The dinner was held in an upstairs room at "The
Gay Hussar" in Soho, London, considered to be one of the finest Hungarian Restaurants
in the country. The Master, Chris Pickford, presented Paul with a framed photograph which was signed on the back by all those present at the dinner. |

Some satisfied diners at the end of the evening. |
The event was touched with sadness when we learned that Rodney Meadows died so unexpectedly soon after arriving home from the dinner. The photograph above is therefore his last. |
