PEAL WEEKEND 15th - 17th September, 2006

Peal weekend is a good opportunity for members to take part in a Society activity and to promote the Society.

Having done such a good job last year, the Senior Steward (Chris Kippin) co-ordinated the peals attempted over this weekend. This year the target was to ring a peal in each ANGLICAN DIOCESE in England, with peals in Wales, Scotland and the rest of the world noted in addition. (This seemed a good target to go for with clearer boundaries than last year's theme of counties, and set a bigger challenge than Roman Catholic or other dioceses.)
