Peal at Crediton
The Crediton Country Courier ran a story following a peal on the 12 bells there. This was only the 2nd peal on the 12 bells, and the first of maximus. Read it here. Anniversary Dinner

Peal Weekend in Leeds
A peal weekend was organised in Leeds over the August Bank Holiday weekend together with a dinner at the Royal Armouries. A report and photos appear here. Country Meeting Weekend in Exeter
The 2007 Country Meeting was held in the City of Exeter over the weekend of Saturday 7th July. Peals were rung on the Thursday and Friday, various towers were open on Saturday including Crediton (pictured) and Exeter Cathedral, a business meeting was held, a call change competition fought over and dinner enjoyed in the evening. St Magnus the Martyr Peal Weekend
Over the weekend of 19th May, approximately 200 people took part in a peal weekend to raise money for the St Magnus the Martyr appeal. 30 peals were successful, over £5,000 was raised, and many people had a great time in the belfry and at the social in the Paternoster on the Saturday evening. On Friday 11th May, the annual Informal Dinner was also an occasion where the Society could show its appreciation to Andrew Stubbs, retired ASCY Treasurer after 25 years. The dinner was held at the Hop Cellars in Southwark, organised by Becky Sugden and Martin Cansdale. After the dinner a ringers' choir sang a version of "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" which can be heard here (if you dare), and Andrew was presented with a frame picture by the Master. The Longest Peal Ever Rung (again)
On 6th May, the TD Minor peal band broke their own record and rang a peal of 72,000 changes in 24hrs 9mins. See details here.
50 Years after the Casting of Bow Bells, Mark Regan retires as Steeplekeeper Dinner for the Immediate Past Master
On 12th January, a dinner was arranged at the Gay Hussar, Greek St to congratulate Stephanie Warboys on her recent year as Master. It was attended by officers who had served with her during her period on top table. Pictures may be viewed here.
