Informal Dinner
The Informal Dinner was held on 19th March, once again in the Bleeding Heart, organised by Rebecca Sugden and the Secretary.

ASCY v SRCY Competition
This year's friendly competition took place on 7th April at St Martin in the Fields.  The result was an overall dead heat, with the ASCY winning the 6 bell challenge, the SRCY winning the 8 bell challenge, and a dead heat for the 10 bell challenge.

Members tour Charleston
Some members met up in Charleston during Easter week to ring some peals on the east coast of the United States.

Country Meeting in Ipswich
The Country Meeting was held in Ipswich, organised by George Pipe.  It included a meeting and dinner at the St Lawrence Centre.  A report may be found by David House, with pictures by Mark Esbester.

Peal Weekend
This took place 17-19th Sept. 33 peals were successful, 3 were lost and 1 didn't start.  One of the peals was rung in Western Australia by an all Australia resident band, pictured here (L-R: Adam Beer, Tony Godber, Bert Woolven, Vicki Greenhalgh, Ian McCulloch, Mary Townsend, Deb Hay, Ian Harris).

An ASCY First - a Peal on Mainland Europe by a Resident Band
Clive Smith relates how a band of Society members, all of whom are resident in Europe, met at ‘t Klockhuys in Dordrecht to ring a peal, on 16th October.

The Society wins the Whitechapel Trophy
The London 12-Bell Striking Competition for the Whitechapel Trophy took place on Saturday 30th October at St Mary-le-Bow. The Society was victorious for the 2nd year running.

The 373rd Anniversary Dinner
The 373rd Anniversary Dinner was held at the Tower Guoman Hotel.  The speakers were the Master, Rev Katherine Rumens, Alex Byrne and the Secretary.  A report by Jennie Butler and pictures from the Webmaster are available.

A New Master
A new Master was elected on 9th November - Philip Goodyer. Graham Bradshaw also won the election for Junior Steward and has joined top table.
