On 9th October, the Society and the village of Nutfield, Surrey, commemorated the centenary of the death of this Past Master of the Society and leader of ringing in Nutfield. This eulogy was written by the Society Librarian and delivered at Mr Burkin's graveside by the Master.

This print (circa 1776) provides an impression of one of the great bells associateed with both the Palace of Westminster and St Paul's Cathedral. It has an interesting history and the print itself raises a number of questions.

The production of a ticket for the Anniversary Dinner is a tradition that goes back over 200 years. A recent discovery has provided a further example of one of these early tickets, as well as helping to fill a gap in the Society's history.
